A Builder Rooted in Family, Built on Experience
Frost Homes began more than 25 years ago when Nancy and Dan Frost started building homes in Star, Idaho. Their goal was simple: build the kind of home they’d want for their own family — nothing less.
As parents of five and grandparents to ten, they understand what a home really needs to do. It has to function, adapt, and hold up through the busiest seasons of life. That mindset has guided every home they’ve built — using lasting materials, practical details, and a focus on long-term durability.
A Team That Builds with Purpose
From the foundation to the finishes, everything Frost Homes delivers is shaped by experience and intention. That includes who we work with. In 2021, Nancy and Dan partnered with Ross Meyer, a framer with deep roots in the building trades and a hands-on understanding of home construction.
Ross grew up around job sites — watching his dad, learning how to frame, and eventually starting RM Construction. His work ethic and technical skill stood out immediately. A year after meeting, Ross officially joined Frost Homes as a partner, with the long-term goal of continuing the legacy.

We’ve built through good markets and slow ones — and stayed busy the entire time. That’s thanks to:

We manage the process, but it’s our subcontractor team that builds the home — and we only work with crews who share our standards.
